How do I make my computer detect my calculator?
When updating or restoring your calculator, Google Chrome must be used to detect your calculator. The detection is done when a pop-up window appears at the top left of your browser.
During an update or Python script upload
If you run into detection problems during an update:
- If you are using Windows, it is possible that there was a problem during the installation of the driver. You have the choice to fix it. To do this, simply download the driver again and then double-click on the downloaded file. Windows will then ask you if you want to install or repair the program. Choose Repair and restart your computer.
- There may be a problem with the cable connection. In this case, try unplugging your device and plugging it in again. You can also try another USB port on your computer.
- Your browser may not be up to date. If this is the case, update your browser and try again.
During a recovery procedure
If you encounter detection problems during a recovery procedure:
